Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026

The Agent Academy Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. What we collect

  • Account details — name, email address, and (for purchases) billing details you supply at checkout.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers on our servers.
  • Learning activity — course progress, quiz responses, and AI role-play transcripts used to grade your work and improve the product.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and usage analytics collected via cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use it

We use your information to deliver the training, grade your work, issue certificates of completion, provide customer support, process payments, and communicate service updates. We may also send you marketing about our own programs — you can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with trusted service providers who help us run the platform: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication hosting) and email delivery providers. These providers may store data outside Australia. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Security

We use industry-standard controls including TLS in transit, encrypted storage, row-level security on our database and role-based admin access. No system is perfectly secure — you use the platform at your own risk.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us at privacy@theagentacademy.org.

6. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs, contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
