Refunds & Cancellations Policy

The short version: cancellations must be received in writing within 48 hours of enrolment, refunds inside that window are partial only (a $150 administration fee applies, capped at the amount paid), and nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellations — the 48-hour written window

Cancellations must be received in writing to info@theagentacademy.org within 48 hours from the date, time and day of your enrolment.

Any enrolment cancellation received after 48 hours will be declined in accordance with the Terms & Conditions and the Cancellation and Refund Policies stated within this site. The basis of a declined cancellation and refund outside of 48 hours is solely due to the significant access to company intellectual property granted immediately on enrolment.

Refunds — partial refund only

Students who cancel and request a refund within 48 hours are eligible for a partial refund only, in accordance with the Terms & Conditions and the Cancellation and Refund Policies stated within this site.

A fee equal to $150 is charged to cover administrative and processing fees, student profile creation, and course allocation, access and credentials. The fee is debited from any eligible refund amount and the balance (if any) is returned to the student. For example, on a $349 program the refund would be $199. The fee is never more than the amount you paid.

Separately, if a program is faulty, not as described, or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy — including a full refund with no deduction for a major failure — regardless of how much of the program you have completed or how long ago you purchased it.

Bundle purchases

The same 48-hour written cancellation terms and $150 fee apply to bundles.

How to cancel a recurring payment

  1. Sign in and open Account → Billing.
  2. Use Cancel subscription for an agency licence, or Manage billing to update your card or download invoices.
  3. You'll see the exact date your access and billing end before you confirm, and we email that confirmation to you.

Cancellations always take effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — we never cut access short mid-period, and we never charge beyond the date shown on your cancellation confirmation. Instalment plans can't be cancelled part-way because the program is already fully unlocked; the remaining instalments complete the purchase price.

Coaching seats

Coaching pod seats follow the same policy: written cancellation to info@theagentacademy.org within 48 hours of purchase for a partial refund less the $150 fee, and declined after 48 hours. Seats can be transferred to a later pod at no charge, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires a remedy.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to cancel a service and receive a refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time and, if it is not, to cancel and obtain a refund.

The following are voluntary limits on our discretionary refund above. They do not apply to, and do not limit, a remedy you are entitled to under a consumer guarantee:

  • Cancellation requests received after the 48-hour window has passed, given the significant access to company intellectual property granted on enrolment.
  • Selecting the wrong program at checkout. In this case we will transfer you to another program of equal value instead of refunding.
  • The program not suiting your individual preferences, learning style or prior experience, where the program is otherwise as described on the sales page.

How to request a refund

Email info@theagentacademy.org from the address you used at checkout with your order reference. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days.
